Our staff of endodontic assistants and office personnel is a group of well-trained professionals providing the finest individual care and is dedicated to serving our patients. Jamie, Office Manager Jamie's duties include answering the phones, assisting patients with any insurance questions or problems that may arise, and scheduling patients. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School and continued her education for 2 years at Johnson County Community College. Jamie has worked in the dental field since 2005 and has worked for Dr. Smith since January 2009. She enjoys getting to know the patients and also enjoys the personal care Dr. Smith gives to each patient. Jamie is a native to Kansas City and enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean and new puppy, Moose. Shae, Dental Assistant Shae's duties include assisting Dr. Smith during procedures, ordering supplies and sterilization of equipment. Shae graduated from Oak Park High School and continued her education at Park University for 1 1/2 years. She then obtained her Dental Assistant Certificate from Penn Valley Community College in 2000. She has worked in the field of dentistry for 11 years and has worked for Dr. Smith since May 2007. Shae loves working at an office that is centered around patient care and loves to be part of our team. Her favorite thing about Dr. Smith is his singing!!! She has never heard anything like it! (ha-ha ) However, on a more serious note, she thinks Dr. Smith is really good about making sure patients are well informed and comfortable. When her two children, Blake and Chloe, are not keeping her and her husband, Greg, busy with activities, they enjoy game night, camping, movies and any other family activities.
Carrie, Dental Assistant Carrie's duties include assisting Dr. Smith during procedures and sterilization of equipment. Carrie is a graduate of Richmond High School, and continued her education at Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City, where she received her certification through the State of Missouri. She has worked in the dental field since 2004 and has been with Dr. Smith since March 2010. Carrie is proud to be included in an office that is patient centered, and excited to be part of Dr. Smith's team! Outside of work, Carrie is married to her husband Travis, and they have 3 children, Kelsey, Hailey, and Jake. Her famly keeps her very busy with sports and activities but any spare time she may have she enjoys baking, especially cupcakes!!
